Lip balm contains some or all of the following:

Vitamin E Acetate
INCI = Tocopheryl Acetate
Vitamin E has long been used for its antioxidant properties in skin care products. Vitamin E Acetate is not a preservative (fights bacteria, yeast and mold) but it will help fight free radicals and extend the shelf life of an oil that seems to be a bit more unstable that you would desire. Usage rates are 1 to 5%.

Jojoba Oil, Clear Refined
INCI = Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil.
Jojoba oil acts as a moisturizer & emollient agent to improve skin elasticity and suppleness. It contains natural Vitamin E to minimize oxidation.

Aloe Extract
INCI = Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract and Canola Oil

Avacado Oil

In the U.S., the FDA requires that all cosmetics include a listing of ingredients using the standardized INCI name for each ingredient. Using consistent ingredient names on product labels allows consumers the ability to easily compare the ingredients between multiple products.
